Living at RiverMead - a Highly Personalized Experience

Resident Centered Care:

Living at RiverMead is a highly personalized experience. We learn more than our resident's names. We get to know our community members on a personal level and understand their unique concerns and priorities. RiverMead practices a resident-centered care model that invites, accommodates, and respects residents' wishes in health care and lifestyle decisions. Resident-centered care is designed to enhance all dimensions of a resident's health and well-being, from physical health to intellect, creativity, spirituality, and more. This all-encompassing perspective views residents as individuals, which in turn enhances their quality of life. Its personalized care that empowers residents to stay engaged in their care, and play to their strengths and interest- not simply to their limitations. This approach also gives staff members the freedom to take more time with residents and enjoy meaningful interactions with them- which leads to greater satisfaction among staff, residents and family members.

One of the benefits of having a lifecare contract at RiverMead, is you know how and who will deliver your care if the time should ever arise that you need a more supportive environment. RiverMead offers assisted living, memory support (specialized care for memory loss) and skilled nursing care. We call this section of our lifecare community, The Health Center. The Health Center is fully staffed 24 hours a day with a professional nursing team that includes RNs, LPN's, MNA's, LNA's and escorts.
